Set the visual quality of the shaders.

Settings, depend on parameter value:

r_shader_quality 0

  • IBL diffuse (lightmapping): per texel
  • Dynamic specular: Cheaper specular PBR BRDF
  • Soft particles: Off

r_shader_quality 1

  • IBL diffuse (lightmapping): per pixel
  • Dynamic specular: Standard PBR BRDF
  • Soft particles: On

r_shader_quality 2

  • IBL diffuse (lightmapping): per pixel, decals affect lighting
  • Dynamic specular: Standard PBR BRDF
  • Soft particles: On
